This image is also in the gallery in a vertical version, so why include the panoramic? With a scene as graphic as this, several compositions are often possible – milk the scene for all it is worth.

For this version, I waited until the cloud was in position to balance the right-hand side of the photograph. As with the vertical version, I prefer the inclusion of the cloud, because of the extra depth it affords the composition.
