Assisi, sunset, Umbria One glorious autumn the vales of Umbria hung in mist, not disappearing all day, for four days solid. It was necessary to climb to the highest point of Assisi, 600 feet above the valley floor, to get out of the mist, and still the churches danced in and out. This shot was made, not, as might be supposed, at sunrise, but actually at sunset.
